The bylaws for the Plazas Homeowners' Association (HOA) were filed with the City of Santa Fe in 2006. Lot owners in the development are members of the HOA and are subject to the bylaws. HOA members will be notified of the annual meeting. Each lot, through its owner or owners, is entitled to one vote. Owners may authorize a proxy representative by completing the "Proxy Authorization" form and submitting it to the HOA Secretary at least 24 hours before the meeting.
HOA Dues
Homeowners are obligated to pay assessments for the maintenance, repair, and improvement of common areas. The monthly assessment is collected quarterly and due on the first day of January, April, July, and October. Homeowners can opt to have their dues withdrawn quarterly from their bank account by completing and submitting the Authorization for Recurring Debit form to the HOA’s bookkeeper at the following address:
Plazas at Pecos Trail HOA PO Box 24041 Santa Fe, NM 87505
If the homeowner chooses to pay by check, the address listed above will also be used. All homeowners paying via recurring debit will be notified by the bookkeeper when the funds will be withdrawn from their bank account. The bookkeeper will send each homeowner paying by check an invoice as a reminder that payment is due.
Past-due assessments are subject to interest charges. In cases where the evaluation is more than 90 days past due, a lien may be filed against the homeowner’s property.
Annual HOA Meetings
The annual HOA meeting will be held in the fall. Homeowners will be informed of the meeting date, location, and agenda before the meeting. The agenda will include consideration of the annual budget, election of members to serve on the Board of Directors, and other pertinent business of the HOA.
Special meetings may be called by the President or by a petition signed by at least twenty percent of the voting power of the Association.
Board of Directors Meetings
Members of the Board of Directors will schedule regular meetings to address HOA matters. Special meetings may be called by the President as needed. Plazas residents and homeowners who would like to bring an issue before the Board may do so by sending a written request to Brent Roper, the Board President.
